Maldives

Maldives (hotels) is the benchmark for Heaven on earth and LUX* South Ari Atoll represents paradise. It is a breathtaking masterpiece in the Maldives. This island resort is surrounded by a crystal clear lagoon and boasts exceptional marine life and some of the best diving sites in the world. The resort combines a tropical outdoor lifestyle with total relaxation, indulgence and the true natural beauty of the original island.

The Maldives was named Leading Destination in the Indian Ocean in the 16th World Travel Awards, and with its shallow lagoons, vast expanses of pure white sand and crystal clear waters it’s easy to see why. Maldives is famous for its marine diversity, especially for its Whale Sharks, which average well over 7 metres in length. These Whale Sharks have found a natural protected area in the Maldives since the establishment of a regulated, large Marine Protected Area. LUX* South Ari Atoll was a flagship supporter of the creation of this initiative in 2009 and the area is home to a globally significant Whale Shark population. Guests are invited to participate in a voluntary gratuity charge scheme to support this conservation initiative.

LUX* South Ari Atoll is situated in the South Ari Atoll on the 25-acre Dhidhoofinolu private island – one of the biggest islands in the Maldives. The island is easily reached with a 25 minute seaplane journey from Malé Airport. The resort is perfect for everyone - honeymooners, families or couples looking for a break from the demands of daily life.
